On 3rd September, Future In Perspective hosted a Career Guidance and Jobs Event at the Cavan Crystal Hotel as part of the GREENSHOOTS . The event brought together local colleges, training providers and businesses under one roof to share opportunities, advice and insights with students, school leavers and adults considering their career options. 

Throughout the day, attendees could browse information stands, speak directly with employers and educators and explore pathways into further education, training and employment, especially in green and sustainable sectors which are central to the goals of the GREENSHOOTS project.

Alongside the stands, our team was on hand presenting the GREENSHOOTS project and how it can supports young people and career changers to build the skills needed for the evolving labour market with a particular focus on sustainability and entrepreneurship.

We were delighted to see so many people actively exploring their options and connecting with local opportunities. We would like to thank all the colleges, businesses, and participants who joined us and helped make the event a success — and we look forward to continuing to support local career development through the GREENSHOOTS project.
