EU Grant Writer - 1 Position available

Over the past 15 years, Future In Perspective has been a leader in the design and development  of compelling EU funding applications. Given the range and diversity of funding opportunities  that exist across the EU at present; we are seeking for the first time to recruit for the position  of Grant Writer to work alongside our writing team to increase the number and diversity of  EU funding opportunities to be pursued over the coming years. The focus of this role is to  make applications to EU Programmes solely in the fields of education, social inclusion,  integration, youth and sport.  

 

The key responsibilities of this role will include: 

  • Preparing, producing, and submitting grant applications and proposals under a number of EU funding calls throughout the year i.e., Erasmus+, AMIF, Creative Europe, REC, PEACE Plus, etc.  
  • Writing and editing high quality and compelling content for competitive proposal processes.
  • Gathering, analysing and synthesising contemporary research papers, strategies and EU documents to identify opportunities for new project proposals
  • Ensuring accountability and compliance with all funding application processes with full adherence to requirements of the various funding calls
  • Building and maintaining strong tracking processes
  • Researching, exploring and identifying new grant opportunities throughout the year and prepare suitable applications
  • Building strong strategic partnerships with a network of European organisations to co develop ideas and build new project partnerships
  • Attending various EU collaboration and networking events throughout the year to position FIP as a partner of choice within new project consortia.

 

Essential Skills and Core Competencies Required

Experience and Knowledge 

  • At least 5 years’ experience of grant application writing in an EU context with proven results.
  • Relevant third level qualification is desirable
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS office with advanced proficiency in Word and Excel Practical knowledge of the EU grant funding landscape

 

Terms of Employment 

This is a 40-hours per week, full-time contract up to 31st December 2025 subject to the  satisfactory completion of a probation period. The nature of the work may require EU travel as the scope of our work at European level.  

 

Salary scale: €38K – €40k with an incentivised bonus scheme linked to application success. 

The annual leave entitlement is twenty-five (25) days per annum, pro-rata for shorter periods.  Entitlement to leave for Public Holidays is in accordance with the terms of the Organisation  of Working Time Act 1997. Future in Perspective is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
